Annie Sloan Paint

I have been hearing some buzz lately on this relatively new chalk paint by Annie Sloan.

This paint can be used indoors and outdoors and it requires NO priming. Doesn't that sound great? The process is pretty simple, just paint it on whatever surface you want, and once it dries cover with a layer or two of Annie Sloan wax to seal it. You can paint just about anything with it; walls, doors, floors, but I think it is best used for furniture.

Although this paint can be used anywhere, I think the best application for it is on furniture. Particularly if you are trying to distress furniture.

To achieve the distressed, french country aesthetic all you need to do is layer the paint colors:

Then sand selected parts of the top layer of paint

There are 24 colors to choose from:

And if you need a different color, these paints can be mixed to create new colors.
