Things we love: Topiaries

Does anyone besides me have spring fever? The weather in Nashville has been absolute perfection lately which really makes me want to get outside and try out my green thumb. I love seeing new life bloom in the spring and watching everything turn green again. Speaking of greenery.... I am aΒ big, HUGE fan of keeping a little greenery inside the house. And I am not talking about grandma's tired, old house plants here either... I mean some fresh, bright greenery to bring life to your space! What better way to do that than by keeping some topiaries around?

I have been seeing these beauties all over the place lately and I am really dying to get a few of my own... maybe for my dining table... hmmm....

They look great just about anywhere; indoors and outdoors.

You can find live ones... and also preserved ones. The preserved ones usually still look very fresh, and they require minimal care. The live ones don't require a ton of care either but you do need to pay attention to them like any other plant.

In case you are wondering where you can get some of these lovely Β plants for yourself.... well my friend, I am glad you asked.

These are from Ballard designs. I like that there are different shapes available.

So what do you think about topiaries for your home?
