Do any of you read House Beautiful? It is hands down my favorite design magazine. Well, let me tell you.... this month's issue knocked it out of the park. One of our antique vendors, Jeanette Whitson of Garden Variety Design, home was featured on the June 2013 cover. And not just any cover... a TRIFOLD cover. This is too amazing not to share:
Her kitchen is the stuff that dreams are made of. I want some stools like those for my counter one of these days. And I LOVE the brass faucet and hardware. What kills me is that Jeanette is a self-taught designer. What?!?
This is the wet bar/butler's pantry. I just love the skirted table and the stone sink. It is such a wonderful marriage between hard and soft.
This living room is amazing too. Those arm chairs are covered in cow hide, and the trifold doors behind the oil painting fold back to reveal a flat screen! You would never know it would you?
I think this might actually be the staircase to heaven...
The library is super bold with all that blue but it totally works. Sometimes a small space is just the right place to make a statement.
This is the side garden.
This house really is absolutely gorgeous. I have been there a few times and seen it with my own eyes, and I can say that the pictures done even do it justice. If you haven't read the article in this months House Beautiful you should check it out. The entire June issue is gold.
