Drama, Drama : Black and White

When I was looking for some good pictures for my post on decorating with stripes, I came across a ton of inspiration for using black and white stripes. I didn't realize that black and white was quite so prevalent, but then the more I thought about it... Black and white is a pretty classic look. Not only does it make for a bold look, but the contrast adds a nice element of drama.

Adding a tough of gold to a black and white scheme makes for a really chic look.

I really like how they used different sized horizontal striped in this room, I would love to see how this looks in the entire room.

That sofa is gorgeous! I feel like you need to be wearing a couture gown and sipping champagne to be worthy of this sofa. haha

There it is, gold and black again.

Using black and white [stripes] together is a pretty easy and usually affordable way to add drama to your home. It is not very hard to find black and white decor, fabrics, furniture etc. and usually if you shop around you can find items to fit any budget.
