I am a huge fan of berries. I think raspberries are my favorite but I definitely like them all. I eat them like candy during the Spring/Summer months when they are in season. One of my favorite afternoon snacks lately has been to make myself a big bowl of mixed fresh berries and add fresh granola to it. This is seriously the most simple delicious Summer snack.
The key to this simple snack is the granola. Personally I like more gooey granola... it still adds a nice crunch when mixed in with the berries, but I am not a fan when granola is super hard and dry. My favorite kind is the Flax Seed granola from Whole Foods. They make it in house and it is the perfect amount of gooey+crunchy+sweet. If you really want to get fancy with this snack you can add a little honey on top or some greek yogurt to it.
