Sorry for the radio silence this week. I have been traveling a good bit and just got behind on life and writing blog posts had to take a back seat. Anyway, I realized that I was due for a July recap (And that I never did a June recap) so here it is! In case you missed some posts over the last 2 months, here are the highlights: (click the links in the text to view the entire post)
I have been working on several nursery projects over the last few months (Lots of folks are having babies I guess) so I shared some inspiration for designing a modern, yet still sweet nursery.
Using acrylic frames is one of my favorite ways to display artwork. Here we talked about different ways to use them and how to style them in your home.
Antlers are the new black y'all. Ok, maybe thats an exaggeration… but antlers are definitely in right now with design trends and I am 100% on board with that. Here we talked about how to use them and style them in your home.
I Had the chance to do a family photo shoot with some of my dearest friends and (if you can't tell) we had such a blast together. I love doing family photography but it is even more special when I get to do a shoot with close friends.
Life on Earth is not about life on Earth. A friend of mine made that comment yesterday and I haven't been able to shake it. It is so easy to get caught up in trying to figure life out, avoid pain, have the right things in place etc. and forget that life here on this side of heaven is not about life on Earth.
I stumbled upon the most amazing bungalow home I have seen in a while - featured in Architectural Digest. This place is 900 square feet of pure design perfection, which just goes to show that you don't need a mansion to create a beautiful home.
I enjoy sharing my heart with you all from time to time (thanks for your encouraging feedback). Here I shared a little of what I have been learning about not letting myself get too preoccupied or worried about figuring my life out on my own, and trusting the Lord with things. This allows me to be free to enjoy the life set before me and not miss moments that matter.
I have been making galettes all summer and I can't get enough of them. They are so delicious and one of the easiest summer treats to make.
Speaking of nurseries…. I revealed a sweet, modern nursery project I have been working on for a few months. The only thing cuter than this room is the precious little boy who lives in it.
And finally, I shared a little tour of designer Victoria Hagan's Nantucket summer home. This place is interior design eye candy at its finest.
Whew, that was a lot. I promise not to go so long without a recap next time. But I did have fun revisiting some of the posts from the last few months. August has some REALLY exciting stuff coming your way including a few big announcements! (One VERY big announcement is coming your way on Monday)
